A Seasonal Shift

The top of our maple trees are transitioning from their cool summer green to a warming ombré effect of yellows, oranges, and fawn. Even though Labor Day is this coming weekend, I couldn’t resist a Fall inspired post. I’m torn between wanting summer to linger around a bit longer now that we’re in the new house and have our stunning deck views to soak in. Maybe it’s the cool breeze spilling through the windows each morning this week that’s pulling me towards embracing the seasonal shift into Fall.

And the sun took a step back, the leaves lulled themselves to sleep and Autumn was awakened.
